Infinite Campus External Tool 
When using the Infinite Campus integration, all assignments must be created with an External Tool. Infinite Campus will call this a Learning Tool, but we will use the term External Tool within our Help Center.
| To create an assignment using the external tool, select the correct Infinite Campus course and then “Add" an “Assignment.” |  |
| Enter the title of the assignment. You can also add a summary if needed. |  |
| Underneath “Attach Content” select “Learning Tool” |  |
| Find and select DeltaMath. |  |
| Optionally, you can enter the appropriate information in the “About” section. |  |

Ensure that “Visible to Class” is set to “On” so students are able to see the assignment. Note: You can have this set to “off” if you are working on a draft, but the selection must be set to “on” when you're ready for students to view the assignment. |

| You can set any start or end dates needed. It is important to note that the due date set within DeltaMath is the date we will use for all grade calculations. |  |
| By default, the assignment will be assigned to all students within the Infinite Campus class. However, if you would only like specific students to see the assignment, you can select the “All Assigned” button and select the appropriate students. |  |
| Ensure that “Grading” is set to “ON.” From there, you can make any needed adjustments to the rest of the settings. |  |
| Click “Save.” |  |
| Once you have saved the assignment, the Learning Tool will turn into a button. Select the button to launch into DeltaMath. |  |

Once selected, you will see the DeltaMath interface displayed. Your five options are:

| Once you have completed one of the options above, click “Create Assignment.” |  |
| Note: When using the Infinite Campus integration, if you would like to assign to individual students, use the “Students” feature within Infinite Campus, and not the “Assign to Individuals or Groups” feature in DeltaMath. |
Adding Sections
| If the assignment should be assigned to more than one Infinite Campus class, you should select “Save and Add Sections” when creating the original assignment. |  |
| Select all appropriate sections that this assignment should be assigned to and then select “OK.” |  |
| Once you've created the original assignment, you must launch into each section and link the assignment. To do this, click a section underneath the “Other Sections/Schedules” section. |  |
| Once selected, launch into DeltaMath using the Learning Tool button. |  |
| From there, select “Link to existing assignment” and then click “link” for the same assignment. For more information about linking, see this article. You will need to repeat these steps for each additional section added. |
